Learn about Power BI, one of Microsoft’s most powerful BI and analytics platforms Out of 21 companies that show up on the Magic Quadrant, only 4 made it into the “Leaders” quadrant where Microsoft was way out front. Opinions from Gartner Peer Insights contributors were also factored in. Reference customers scored vendors on a wide range of metrics, including Customer experience, operations, marketing understanding and more. Regarding the data used in the publication, Gartner states that this Magic Quadrant refers to “composite measures of success” based on a survey of vendors’ reference customers. Per Gartner, “ Modern analytics and business intelligence (BI) platforms are characterized by easy-to-use tools that support the full analytic workflow - from data preparation and ingestion to visual exploration and insight generation.” Products were reviewed per 5 use cases and 15 capabilities of an analytics and BI platform. ![]() This is the 12th year in a row that Microsoft has been recognized in a Gartner Magic Quadrant for their analytics and BI platform. Gartner, and Microsoft, have done it again.
